Veronica walked up to the door and opened it slowly. She had gotten out of the common room and escaped out her so she could think. She hated the feeling of being locked up in a cage. It was so boring to her, she needed somewhere to go. Something to do.
The door creaked open, she let it shut quietly. Her pretty lime green eyes wondered around the room. Searching every object of interest. Her black jeans were kind of loose, the chains that hung from them made clinking noises as she walked slowly. She had on a red Senses Fail shirt with a black jacket over it, that looked like it had been splattered with blue, green, and pink paint. Her fingers decorated with silver rings. One of which had a black stone in it. The stone changed colors every now and then, it wasn't a mood ring, she had no idea what it was. She just had it.
Her fingers hugged at the end of the jacket as her small frame moved over to a small armchair by a window. She sat down in the chair pulling her knees up to her chin. Hiding behind her knees she felt safe.
Veronica didn't have many friends because of the way she was. She was different, than some of the people in the school. She had seen a few people like her, but hadn't spoke to them yet. Her thin fingers with black paint on them played with the chains on her jeans. Heavily lined lids flickered shut after a few moments. She waved her hand and the only lit candle went out so that it was completely dark in the room. Rain started slowly beating against the window. Splattering inside around the armchair where she was sitting.

Ayden shook his head, he was standing from the outside staring at the Shreiking Shack. It was the first time he had been to see it in a while, and for that he had never seen the inside of it. He pulled his black Three Days Grace jacket tighter around him and shivered. His Paramore tshirt and faded blue jean pants and his jacket were wet from the rain, and it didn't even look like there was a cloud in the sky.
He was amazed at what was inside the Shack. It was empty. Something he thought differently. He thought it would filled with, well, anything. "Well that is what happens when I think I guess." he mumbled to himself and began to look around

Veronica heard voice and opened one eye glaring out the window and say one faint person who seemed to be mumbling. She just watched with one eye opened as her arms were crossed over her chest, to keep her knees slightly from getting sore. She smirked and got up and messed up her long blonde hair and made it even messier. It came down to the middle of her back and opened the window falling about five feet to the ground. She stood up rubbing her but and dusting herself off. She looked back at the window then over to the figure. She shoved her hands down into the pockets of her jeans and walked towards the person. Her pale face made even lighter by the faded red lipstick and the blonde hair, plus her black attire. She said nothing to him, just stood there studying him all.

Ayden shook his head to help dye his hair. He sighed and looked around some more. The whole just seemed to be so empty. He turned and saw girl with a pale face, black attire and red lips.
That made him jump. He wasn't expecting it all. "Man you scared me" he finally managed to say

Veronica half laughed at the boy. Her breath making smoke against the cold. She leaned against an old car that hadn't been working in a long time as of it's appearance. She crossed her arms across her chest after removing them from her pants. "Grr. I am very scary." She said quietly.

Ayden zipped up his jacket and smirked at the girl. "Oh yes, very" he said a bit scarcastically. He brushed some of his hair out of his face and looked around.

She looked at the boy and made a face. She was really bored. "Yea, whatever" she mumbled to herself and she reviewed at environment. Then she fixed her hair and wringed her hands. "Okay.." she whispered.

Veronica nodded when the boy introduced herself. "Oh.. Yeah" she said. "I'm Veronica Valerie" she added quickly. "But I already know you" she said like soliloquizing. She smiled quickly. "I see you around Great Hall everytime" she said, still smiling. "You're a Gryffindor, aren't you?" she asked him. "On your fifth year?"
